King God of Ultra Running

Yes, I'm the self-appointed King God of Ultra Running!

That may sound bold, but I'm going to knock a few WannabeeUltraRockStarTrailRunners off of their self-made flimsy ego-pedestals.

Watch me burn up the trails up at Psycho Psummer down in Kansas City, Kansas next week.

Kansas????? What the hell?????

I may have to do some low altitude training before I show up there.

And to the race management: git that first place award ready! You should be paying me to run your little race. Just kidding, but that would be totally sick if you did.

By the way, the main reason I entered this race was because I was traveling for work. The other reason I entered: I really like that Krazee-Sick race logo, and am hoping that the shirt has that on it. I've gone out of the way to get great shirts before ----I even entered a mountain bike race on a friend's mtb, just to get a shirt from the Death Race. Crazy, huh? Fetishes, fetishes! Can't have enough fetishes.

Hey King God. I have a prediction. The hills at Psycho Psummer are going to turn you into a quivering blob of frog slime. You seem very confident. Have you won any races that we may have heard of?

Your excellency hitherto known as King God of Ultrarunning,

We aren't worthy, I know.
You didn't contact me (race management), otherwise, I may have wagered an entry fee against the possibility of you winning.

Don't knock Kansas or its runners or thick air, or it (and they) may knock your ass (into the dirt).

Happy (burning) trails,
Bad Ben

Yo, too bad I won't even be a volunteer this weekend to see the Trail Deities kick you back to whence you came! But you can bet I'll be following up on your sorry ass once the results are in! Hello and goodbye, at the same time. Once and for all.

I almost forgot about you. We were talking about Psummer Psycho the other day and I thought about this blog. I guess you didn't win, huh? Any races coming up?
